I need an estimate on a job. If you know anybody that does this type of work. Please send them my way. 980 429 6596

Thanks

Been almost 10 years since doing tile professionally. You will need a through body porcelain tile. Nothing glazed or ceramic. They can't handle freezing. Don't know what would be the best thinset anymore. Would probably use epoxy grout.

Why not put a thin layer of stamped concrete on top?

That's what I am looking at now. Still waiting on @GotWood to send me a contact of somebody that does this kind of work.

Even with the best bonding agent that thin layer of stamped concrete is probably gonna pop off after some time. I would do tile or pavers. They make outdoor specific tiles that are slip resistant and look great too. What kind of look are you going for? I do indoors tile all the time. Ive yet to do any outside though.

The old slab was done by one of the previous home owners and was not done properly. Cracked up, one place has sank about 1". There is no water going under the house now, however I want to install a drain and pitch it away from the house more. Hoping to not have to have it busted out and re poured.

If you're going to re pour it, then I'd highly recommend just having it stamped. I use to work with some guys outta Boiling Springs that do some great work.
