The Windjammer, duster and bikini top combo?

Anyone run this year around? Im looking into it if I manage to get my backseat out but Im wondering how well the windjammer keeps water out, and if the cab will be able to heat up at all (not that I use the heat much, but it does help when its 8 degrees outside...)

Keep in mind I live in Boone year around, so that could factor into the choice to switch over.

Weren't you just complaining about having no space in that thing?
TJ + windjammer = no college parking lot booty-call space
Get an aftermarket hard top w/ removable panels....

Yeah, but I realized that with that back seat removed that I would have most of the space I really need.

Aftermarket hard top is WAY out of my price range.

I had that combo on my tj. I didnt drive it everyday, or expect to pack it with booty.
I had a rack built for the back, that was just above the duster. The heat did alright.Cant say it stayed in long, but it did blow past me.It was kinda like a truck inside.
I would recomend this set up for a serious trail rig. Maybe not for a DD though, especially in Boone.

Have fun freezin your balls off!!

Id build you a hardtop outta wood before I rode around Boone with a bikini top.

But to each his own i guess

There is a guy up here who has a hard top made out of diamond plate...

As for the three piece idea, guess Im going to veto that one

Its way sweet. The red rocket.

The Bestop Halftop works a lot better for a DD jeep than the windjammer/bikini/duster combo. Its a lot quieter and weather proof than the three piece combo.

I run a the above three combo on my Warangler until Thanksgiving week every year and then its time for the old hard top.

It was not that cold, but you will have to dress warm. My problem was my jeep never warms up till it is in motion... Gloves, ear muffs and a coat you will fine
