I feel ya,we spent about $2600 in fuel on our cross country trip.As of three weeks ago the cheapest place was the self serve station on the right, just before the Dennys, and by self serve I mean no building or anything, just the pumps.

Post up the pics for us poor 'workin' folks.

We came in by Glacier NP in Montana about 850 miles north of Moab. Left Glacier Saturday morning at 41degrees and arrived here sunday morning around 98 degrees! It's enough to make a Fat boy sweat!

either of you. I want to make the BlazerBash hosted by ColoradoK5 in a couple of yrs & love looking at these photo's...

Lefty, pull up Google Earth. You can see a lot of trails on there Hells Revenge is easy to spot on the NE side.

We headed east from Moab six weeks ago . Wish we were still there .

This was south of Moab , its a trail called Hotel Rock .

How long are you out there for ? Make sure to hit Milts for the blackened chicken sammich ! And the Branding Iron does a nice job of dinner . What trails are your running ?

Picked up a 4 door Rubicon today and will hit a few trails tomorrow. Just us in a Jeep so need to be smart about the trails, temps today was 102. The Ruby is Loaded with options and we are really impressed with it and the price! The guys at the rental was very good to deal with! I'll give more on that when we turn it back in tomorrow! Our rental actually starts at 7:30 in the morning but they called me and offered up for the afternoon about 5:30 with no extra charge! Guess they heard about our Hot Dawgs! We drove it to dinner to get acquainted with the buttons and stuff. Even the Satellite Radio is activated! Remote start is a surprise also.

Go to bed right now with no supper!

Here's a couple. In the first can you spot the vehicle? Distance is hard to capture.

Man I wish I could get back out there. That place is so awesome to wheel! More pics please.

I need to give a heads up to Cliffhanger Jeep Rentals! These guy's are awesome. We reserved a 2 door Extreme for the next day which is a Rubicon with a 4 1/2 lift and 5.13 gears. Later in the day I called them and changed my choice to a 4door with a hardtop. I knew the longer wheelbase would be better for my back. (I have had back surgery and have to be careful). The Jeeps were the same cost and they agreed, I was supposed to pick up the Rubi the next morning. About 4:30 they called and explained that the Jeep had already been turned in and if we wanted it early just come and pick it up! Same price, just more jeep time. We picked it up and used it for some dinner plans we had already made earlier. This is a 2012 Rubicon that is loaded with the comforts of a very nice luxury car and they know we are going to take it out and enjoy it for what it is designed to do! And that is what we did! We covered over 80+ miles OFFROAD in the 100+ heat with the AC blowing and the Sat radio blaring tunes with a very capable vehicle and did not have to haul it from NC.! We payed a $25 insurance fee that we chose that covered any tire issues and all glass! Total out the door rental fee was $260. It's not cheap but not bad for a one day raisin hell in a rental in a great place to do it! Next time we travel to Moab we'll give them some more of our bizz! Cliffhanger is a great buissness to deal with! We had the Rubi for over 24hours for $260 which is about $10 a hour! Not too bad! We hiked to several Arch's and hit the remote start from a LONG ways off and the AC was full blast and getting cool by the time we got to the doors! THIS is a cheaper way to do Moab!
