Anybody in Shallotte?

I know there are a lot of members in Wilmington/Leland and Myrtle Beach/Conway but is anybody else out there in Shallotte / Ocean Isle / Calabash area?

My pops has a place in Calabash. We go there lots during the fall and spring. Normally a bit too busy for me during the summer time. Haven't been there in a couple of months, is the bridge still there?

The floating bridge to Sunset Beach got replaced by a huge concrete monster and now sits on the shore next to the new one. I think they are going to build a park around it.
 
I go to sunset pretty often; my family has a home on the island. I also frequent the area more in the spring/fall.
 
I go to Oak Island pretty often during the summer, I'll actually be out at Holden Beach next week.
 
I visit, too. Inlaws have house at OIB. We go down a few weekends a year, usually a week in the fall.
