I've got a 2000 lincoln continental ( I know that's my problem! ) and the A/C was blowing pretty cold until saturday when it suddenly started blowing hot. Checked and yes the clutch is engaging and can hear compressor start. Put one of those cans with a gauge on the top on the low pressure port this morning and it seems a little high (45psi), guy at O'reillys looked it up and said it should be 38. But that doesn't seem way out of line. Anybody have any ideas?, it's the wifes car :shaking:and I need to fix this headache asap....Thanks guys

if it was blowing cool and all of a sudden went warm the evap core inside the car could have froze over.... especially since its been so humid out. just my .02

Could be the blend door, blend door actuator/motor. That happened to my wife's WJ and the blend doors broke, thus letting hot air thru.

It seems to blow " cool " at low speed but as soon as you turn up the fan it gets hotter.
