The Facebook post said they found him. FB can be a valuable tool.

I picked up a wallet out of the middle of main street Columbia in a downpour a while back. It was soaked and had a stack of 20s hanging out (I work above a bank). It had a school ID card on the front, searched the name on FB, compared photos, sent the kid a private message and dropped the wallet off at the security desk. He picked it up an hour later.

I'm wasnt sure on all the details but was on a friends feed so figured I'd spread the word. No harm no foul.

The owner has been located.
