Anyone do AC repair around Raleigh?

Seems like the XJ is due for a new compressor, was hoping someone in or around Raleigh may do AC repair on the side? I used to have a guy, you bring him the parts and he billed the job out straight time, but he has passed.
 
I have a pump and a set of gauges if you want to swap the parts and bring it over, or just hook it up and troubleshoot. Is there an obvious leak at the compressor?
 
A trusted local shop diagnosed it as having a leak at the compressor, I just can't justify the price tag for their replacement when rockauto sells almost the entire AC system for $225 plus shipping.

If you want to swap the parts, it's an easy fix. Or if you just want to top up the freon for a while, you can do that, too. Either way, the gauge set and vac pump are here. It only takes about an hour and $30 in freon to charge it up.
 
I have gauges and vacuum pump here in Surry if anyone ever needs to use them.

I will probably take you up on that, let me get some parts on order and see if I can fit myself into your schedule.
