I'm looking to get some shirts made but want something custom done. Please pm if you can help me out.....

My wife and her sister are into it big time. "Watchamacallits and Thingamajigs". They are working on a web site. She has like 3 machines now? But we're in Durham. Her sister is in Hillsborough, a tad closer? They have design software for their machines. You won't beat their prices for both of them work out of a bedroom. They take turns every weekend at each house. It's the only profession besides babysitting that can legally be done from home specified by the Durham UDO. She's considered putting up a sign in the yard but we live on a dead end with 5 more houses down the road.:shaking:
She's hooked up and does the t-shirts for Mimi's Cafe, like one every 2 weeks or so anyways. She hits craft shows alot. She's got quite a selection of articles now. Let me know if you want their contacts?

She can make anything with a pattern, or she can try to find one herself? My favorite is the chef hat she made for me. She's just getting started basically (maybe 2 years) but off to a great start.
Oh yea, she has items selling at Northgate Mall in Durham at the Health Spa. Mainly some crazy pocket books that are selling fast. She has a very large supply of materials going on now. I can't build shelves fast enough...

Yeah, Jeremy, I too am interested in the hats. I would be happy to send her a hat, and even a hat to copy.
My Rock Corps hat is very worn, and the place that made it is out of business, then back in business, but will only do a large quantity.
I have two other RC hats, but both are black and I can not wear black in the summer at all!

find out this info and get back to us, you may have found a whole new use for your wifes time!

I have used a place in Salisbury called Ashlee's Embroidery to make my WTFab hats. She was great to work with and had reasonable prices.

Kick butt! She has had a nerve issue forcing her to find another job. She has served at Cracker Barrel for many years but the heavy trays have taken a toll on her neck. She's had several procedures done but has to work to help pay the doc bills. She wants to sew / embroider for a living and I'm trying my best to help out with loading her up and taking her to events to sell. I sent her an email of this link encouraging her to join. I just wonder if this would require a "vendor" account? Anyways, she will love this!

Ya'll ever heard of a small town named Saxaphaw? It's a gathering every other Saturday with live bands, open booze and crafts. It's their newest adventure. I haven't been yet but sounds like a happening event?

Sewing/embroidery is more than a hobbie for her. It works out great since I'm wrenching all the time...

No vendor subscription would be required for embroidery since it is not a 4x4 related business.

As a general note, there are reasons/benefits a vendor sub. might be desired... but in this case it is not required.

That's cool! Nice way to help the people get started and especially in this economy.:bounce2:

Wife said she was sorry for not responding for she's been so wrapped up preparing for us to go out of town this weekend. She said she'd respond on Monday.

Hope that works.
