Anyone do paint work near charlotte

Well I have a carbon fiber hood on my wrx which could use a light sanding and some sprays of clear on it. I took it to a body shop and they quoted me 175 for that which seemed a little high. Let me know if anyone does any work in the charlotte area.

175 is about right for a shop. Good clear is expensive

i won't touch a hood on anything for less then 200

Ok that just seemed a bit pricey to me. May try it myself.

You may be able to wet sand it and buff it back up if its not terribly scratched up.

You might also find someone who does body work and ask them to help you... I.E. go over and have them show you what to do and mabey you learn something as you go.
