Anyone ever done the rubicon trail?

I wanna go in the future. Nothing planned. Just curious if anyone’s done it.

We didn’t do the whole trail, just from the trailhead on Georgetown side, out to spider lake, and back. Beautiful trail. [mention]M&M Offroad [/mention] has been out there a time or two as well.

I've been to reno/tahoe a few times and taken rentals on it from the Tahoe side a couple times. The whole area is pretty great and reno is one of the best places in the world.

It’s a bucket list for me. I dream of going. I got pretty bent on it last year and read everything I could find and watched every YouTube video I could on it. I dream of doing it and catching trout and swimming at Rubicon Springs.

I did not see where rentals were an option though. More info on that?

I took a rental Buick on it once. I made it about 10' before I got high centered and we had to push it back out.

If you're going all that way, I'd want to do Dusy Ershim.

If you can line up a Rubicon trip with the WeRock Donner, CA event I would highly recommend it. Never done the Rubicon but have been to Donner twice and it’s an awesome venue and comp.
