Anyone ever heard of Kenda tires??

Just saw an add for these. Asian made I gather, but price seemed OK. Was looking at the Kenda M/T for either as 30's or 32's for a couple of my rigs. Just wondered if anyone ever heard of these things? Haven't found anything about sidewall ply's yet.
 
My buddie is running a set of their klevor MT's on his colorado. He likes them, dunno how long they will last he has around 5k miles on em now and they still look new.
 
ive ran a set on a a four wheeler i had one time, no problems and seemed well made....didnt know they started making car tires though
 
They have been big in the motocross/ATV market for a long time. I used to run them when I was racing and they performed very well. I would assume they would bring the same performance and reliability to the off road market, but I was wrong once before.
 
I noticed an add on craigslist for a local tire store with these tires. Seemed a bit lower in price than some other name brands. I think they only make up to a 32x11.5x15 from best I can tell. I couldn't determine what their sidewall construction was.

Oh, I guess you guys are serious about the bike tires. I thought the first reply on a mt. bike by renegadeT was just screwing with me on these maybe being crappy tires. :eek: Good, I gotcha now, thanks.
 
Kenda is a chineese manufacturer, they've had various tires available in the states for many years, I bought a Kenda rear tire on a motorcycle I had 17 years ago ( it wore pretty fast, lasted one summer )

they also have a fairly large selection of trailer tires available as well. our camper came with them new.

Quality is average, but largly bad mouthed because of the China aspect.
 
I have ran them for years on dirt bikes, great tire for the money. Tried to order a set of 33 12.5 15, through work and every one I talked to said the M/T are on national back order. U can still get the 31 and 32s. Saw a few sets on the delivery truck look to be a good tire
