Anyone good at respooling synthetic winch line?

What's your technique?

I see perfectly wound line and I get jealous.

I run all the rope off then drop the rig in neatral and tie off to a tree or the tow rig. I winch in the rig and guide to spool it in nicely. The real disadvantage is that the rope never seems to stay round, ie it flattens out making the perfect spool about impossible.

And I'd have to have 125+ feet to do it. I can find that but I don't have a big yard or driveway so I'll have to go offsite somewhere.

Double it back through a d ring if you have that much room....
