Anyone got a transmission jack?

I can borrow for a few to stick my stupid transmission back onto my engine?
I apparently always forget how hard this is sans transmission jack, try it, and fail.
Then curse.
Usually just walk over and borrow my neighbor's, but he's out of town for a while.

In north raleigh, but could steal my roommate's car to pick it up somewhere else.
(Or if you're really bored, I'll get beer/food tomorrow and you can help me get that *#(#@ mounted.)

i feel your pain. it took 5 of us to get an xj tranny and tcase back in place. luckily i have a mechanics pit so we just ended up using planks and a floorjack.

scissor jack or floor jack adapter type? I have both but the scissor one hasn't been returned yet and I'd have to make a call..

I am in fayetteville but I have a jack you can use. It is the scissor type. Gets raised by ratchet or impact. I prefer air but I am lazy. Let me know if you need it.

I hate the adapter plates.
just cracked my head dorking with it, so taking a break for some football.

I emailed him the scissor jack will be back hopefully today (It needs to come home anyway, he's had it for 6months+) worst case we can run over and pick it up, he's just in Youngsville.

Yea, I'm ride less though. Roommate had to go up to Va for a funeral. So now just trying to remember where the grounding straps and some of the other wires went.
