Anyone got an 88 xj with AC?

There is an issue here. it seems like the compressor has a ground wire spliced to the hot wire. There is one plug, and two wires. One just goes to the case? Should that just be a ground wire going to ground?

mines the same way, im not sure how it works tho.

Yea. My tj is that way too. I guess something is shorted in the compressor.
