Thanks alot Infantryyj.......I still dont know if it is listed as stolen or what. I gave 400 bucks for it, no title, the guy that had it said the owner left it in his barn for several years. The owner then moved far away and has abandoned the xj. he said the owner left owing him 4oo bucks so i bought the jeep.I have since dropped a little dough in it and am gonna wheel it.
However, if i get a clean title for it, it then becomes worth more and i will have a few more options...sell trade or whatever.What should i do? I could buy a title and vin and drive it sparingly on road and heavy on trails.
 
Will this raise a flag or sound some alarm....where the bars close on the windows and the door locks and im stuck in dmv land where my hands are in the air and these dogs are growling and then they ask....Wheres the jeep?

Any way...I just dont want to loose the heap.
