Id say that coverage is pretty good based on where you are. The biggest thing i noticed based on that plan was limited data use. After 1gb per month across all the lines, they throttle you're speeds to 2g.
My brother is fresh out the army an just moved back to archdale from Hawaii and he is currently in the process of trying to get out of his contract because he has very little service in this area.
I had it for a week and I was able to use it on the main roads , anywhere else is sketchy . My total usage in one week was 38 minutes of usage and I still had to pay for the month.
I had T-Mobile for years. Coverage is fair/average. Nobody can touch Verizon. I found T-Mobile to be shady as fawk the way I was treated. I bet my bill was different every month for 5 years. I dumped them in December and went to Straight Talk unlimited everything from WalMart. $48 total a month, every month. Coverage is much better and I couldn't be happier so far. I have 4G almost everywhere.
My gf had t-mobile and it brought the suck on service.. but she was only paying like $30 a month.. but she only got service in the cities.. nothing outside of them..
My Coworker has it and he loves it. He took it all the way up to NJ and never had a problem...He lives in Jamestown and frequents Greensboro and High point and has never had a problem...
I couldn't live with his choices: I'm only a week into my current billing cycle, and I've already used over 400mb of data. But the article does a good job of laying out the compromises.
