A good friend of ours in Myrtle Beach just called us yesterday to tell us he bought a Jeep Rubicon. Today he called us to tell us he is impossibly stuck in the mud. He has absolutely no offroad experience whatsoever, and apparently someone who tried to pull him out is stuck also.

We would go and help him out but its almost 7 now and the wife has to work tomorrow, so a 6 hr round trip is out of the question. Before the issue arises, we know all about wheelin is not a good idea in construction site as well as the whole trespassing issue. We are not advocating that at all, but the fact remains that we have a buddy who is really really stuck and all the stores that might sell a high-lift or a come-along have closed for the night.

Give us a call if you can loan him a comealong or a highlift. We would not ask anyone to go out there. Thanks in advance for any help you can give him, I'm sure a case of beer could be arranged.

nevermind, good samaritan with a big truck pulled them out, just got the update. thanks

There are 3 24 hour Walmart's in the Socastee/ MB area if he needed a come along.
Glad he got it out.
Now tell him to stay out of the construction sites. There is already a bad taste for four wheelers around that area. It doesn't need to get worse...

thats about 30min from my house chris... I would have got him if id seen it sooner!

Thanks guys for the offers. We are trying to talk him into coming up to Uwharrie on opening day. (teach him the ins and outs of legal 4wheelin)

I think he just got a little overenthusiastic about his new toy - hopefully he won't be so gunshy that he won't take a few offroading trips with us.

Bruce we are coming down that way either this weekend or next, are you going to be around?

not 100% sure.. i might run back to morehead this weekend, but its still up in the air... if u dont have it i will PM you my number again, if y'all come down give me a hollar, i have a house basically right at the NC/SC line

Only in Jeep! :D

I actually live in the center of Socastee and could have helped him if I had seen this before. Glad you got him out, the county cops have fun with guys that wheel on construction sites here.

What does his jeep look like?
