Anyone in the Air force that can help with advise?

My son ships off to basic Oct 3rd. He graduates Thanksgiving day. Where is a place to stay close to base ? Trying to book flights and room now with that being the busiest time of year to fly. Any advice on places to stay, eat or see would be greatly welcomed.

You can call base lodging on Lackland AFB they will be able to suggest local hotels. Make sure to visit the river walk in San Antonio its beautiful.
