Anyone interested in trail riding weekend July 11-12?

Hello NC4x4,

I am itching to go trail riding in a new location besides URE the weekend of July 11-12. I live in greensboro and from there I am interested in Durhamtown Tellico, Ivy Branch, or Possibly Harlan since they are all about the same distance away. I have been to neither of these parks but I believe I would have a good time. Obviously I would be doing the camping route for this trip.

I have had a four years experience at URE and a few trips on Potts Mountain in Va and my jeep has never had any trouble at either locations on all of the trails. I have been with groups during vehicle recovery and breakage and always came out of the trail okay. All of these places have some hardcore obstacles and trails but I am looking to feel out at least one of these parks by doing some of the mild trails and getting a good scenic ride.

If anyone is interested in getting a small group together for this let me know. Also let me know which trail system is preferred. I am open to either three.

come to The Flats on that weekend...i don't know what jeep you have but you'll love some of the trails at the Flats Park...plenty to test it out on and you can join in on the Mud Race!!

Been there before. It was fun but I am sort of looking for a larger park for the whole weekend. Plus a little relief from the heat!

Arriving Friday I presume? If your group plans on running some of the mild trails I would be interested.
 
were leaving Asheville area at 8. not sure what we will be doing group is all over the place rig wise, razors, bronco2 long armed on 33s all the way to a Comanche on 40s all of us are locked front and rear. this will be my first trip there as well.

Ouch. Yeah I'm not doing so well this year. I'm late with everything. I'll be up there tomorrow stringing.

That's my own personal hell I've created. Stay away.
 
Shoot guys. I just realized that I actually have something planned for that weekend now :(
