I know Im not getting my stuff back. the doorstep thing works great for these p.o.s. I go to his house and I can end up in jail.
Im just wanting to make sure that everyone knows what kind of person he is. so no one else puts trust in him. and he gets a chance to steal from someone else on this board.

Man, stop being a push over and put something together. I think with the crew on this forum we can put something together. Yeah the cops may show, but this is NC....what do you expect to happen at most?

Letting him get away with this crap enforces the idea that he can get away with more. Time to end this NOW!

LOL, that has got to be one of the most idiotic things I've read on NC4x4. You've obviously never had any dealings with NC law enforcement. The good ole days of "lets go get this MF'er" are long gone...

...and that is why pieces os sh%t like this guy get away with taking things from people that work hard for what they have. The po-po sure as hell aren't going to do anything about it. Had a lawyer friend tell one time that a person can't testify to someting they don't remember. In other words...beet him so bad, he can't remember it and have someone use your credit card a few places when this takes place.

i know 4 guys that went to jail for beating a guy to within an inch of his life because he didn't bring all the mary j they wanted. the only reason they went to jail was because his girl was with him.

In this case, the guy took the wheels because the OP gave them to him. If you're going to be stupid, you'd better be tough.

Your lawyer friend sound like a real class act (read idiot.) You might want to seek a 2nd opinion, people are convicted all the time of crimes in which there were no witnesses.
 
Buy an old clunker car, that will pass inspection. Put tag and insurance on it. Make a bill board out of a full 4X8 sheet of plywood, mount it on top. Drive up and park in front of his house. Put a message on it what happened. Have someone drive it around his home town. Learn places he goes ect and show up. Do nothing, just drive and park. He either has to hire an attorney to get you to stop, or he pays, and it all goes away.

Got a driver, plywood and car, if the paint is stopping you I'll supply it. Hell I'd even throw in a few bucks for gas in the car.

yes, I f'd up in trusting him. but I let past experiences with honest people Ive met on this board let my gaurd down. I would say my dealings with people on this board has been 95% good. had 4% of douchebags and 1 theif. decent ratio.
and as far as time goes. I left the house for work this morning at 7am pulled back in the at midnight tonight. I just dont have the spare time or the desire to take the chance to be arrested over this p.o.s. Im sure he will eventually get his. but I dont want him to get the chance to screw another one of our members over.
 
none of us know what his new name is though....
 
the other user id that had the same ip is "brad" but he hasnt logged on in awhile either. I guess it needs to be checked again
 
well I dont know what he was thinking but he added me as a friend on his my space. so I got to see some pics of my wheels. then some of my tires mounted on his truck. its a 90's black xtra cab chevy on 44's has dc decals on the bed

i still have your wheels , and i changed from nextel to verizon . i sold everything about rockcrawling and 4x4 , but still kept your wheels this long could of sold them a 100 times , had no way to get intoch wit u, if u want your wheels all u have to do is come get them , marc at the tattoo shop would tell me that u called but never left a number .
 
funny thing about that reply is. I called and left messages on his phone twice a day. and with the guy at the tattoo shop.
maybe I will get my wheels
