And in the need to wrench on a Jeep?

I wanna install this lift and all the junk i have to go with it this weekend, but I dont have the tools, nor the know how to want to mess around by myself quite yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

I can pay for the beer, but i cant buy it :fuck-you:

you would have to wait until my anniversary. i'll be out of town this weekend, but if you don't get help or tools pm me and we can work something out for next weekend.

just a BB. Some JKS Disco's as well.

Looks like we are gonna try this ourselves. Got the tools last night (you could seriously kill someone with this torque wrench. Better be worth the 80 i paid for it)

woo, this was a great idea. :shaking:

Cant get the damn sway bar connects off.

These things are stuck. Ive been PB blasting this for the entire week, and no amount of force will move em

Just a elcheapo propane torch will work, just takes a while. Just have to get the metal to expand.
Rotsoluck

You could take the torque wrench back if you wanted to, it's not really needed for a BB or any lift for that matter. Then if you still can't get it done, you can still come by. :flipoff2:

yeah, an impact drive aint even taking care of this bitch.

Na, the torque wrench was a good buy either way, I'll need it eventually.

I figured we could pop the top end of the sway bar connect off, but the tie rod fork isnt moving the top bolt either.

The front end is so full of grease, we are kinda afraid of using a torch.

EDIT*

Do I even NEED to remove the sway bar link to put the BB on?

Well, weve given up hope with what shit we have.

My jeep must have been Satan's at some time.

He probably drove it through the deepest, darkest parts of hell, and then decided to sell it to me, just to have a good laugh.

Even with air impact wrenches, cut off tools, sawzalls, we STILL couldnt get the rear end done.

The rear springs wouldnt come off, the rear bumpstops wouldnt come off, and the rear shocks didnt come off without putting up a damn good fight (broke one of the bolts off entirely. I came home with one end lifted, and one of the rear shocks on by a single bolt. The Disconnects are probably improperly aligned, because Id get wicked death wobble every once in a while.

BUT, i think its gonna look awesome. And all this work means that when I take it a part the next time, it'll be a shit ton easier.

Thanks for the help Braxton. I could have never done this alone. And for all you guys who think a BB is easy work, youve never done it on the Devil's personal jeep.
