Anyone need some trailer axles? (or know where to get them cheap?)

I am planning to build a trailer here soon, I found what seems to be a pretty good price on some 7000lb axles on EBAY (All-Pro Trailer). $825 shipped for two axles, complete with brakes and leaf springs.

That price is for two straight (no drop) axles, so $412.50 each shipped. Single axle pricing was a fair amount higher.

If I buy 4 of the above (straight) axles the price was about $390 shipped.
4" drop axles were going to be about $475 each based on 4 (what I will likely use).

They sell all different weight rating axles, widths, etc. The shipping was the main price changing factor, the more I order the lower the price.

That or if anyone knows somewhere to get axles cheaper, I'd love to get some Torsion axles but don't want to pay the ~$700+ price tag on them.

If that is 2-7k axles I might be interested.

Also wonder what the price would be for wheels & tires too. They can typically get them for a good price.

Might also go for 2-5k axles depending on price.

Is this what you are looking for? Don't think it comes with brakes or leafs but they are $136.95 each and close enough to drive.
Those are 3500lb axles. I think he was looking at 7k. Also brakes can add more then u think.

Can you mix/match other size axles? I might would be interested in a pair of 6 lug 5200lb axles. How wide are they backing plate-backing plate, and spring perch?

I paid $335/axle for 7k brakes, bearings, and drums. That was all OEM Dexter stuff. $75 for an axle and leaf springs is stupid cheap.

depending on the price difference, I would possibly be more interested in the 5200lb axles as well. dont really need 7k.

Id also be curious about width as well, and what kinda deal with wheels/tires as that can add up too.

I bought a 7k 8 lug a couple of years ago. I got it from the parts department of Kaufman Trailers. Beat everybody else by a hunnert bucks.
