I am planning to build a trailer here soon, I found what seems to be a pretty good price on some 7000lb axles on EBAY (All-Pro Trailer). $825 shipped for two axles, complete with brakes and leaf springs.
That price is for two straight (no drop) axles, so $412.50 each shipped. Single axle pricing was a fair amount higher.
If I buy 4 of the above (straight) axles the price was about $390 shipped.
4" drop axles were going to be about $475 each based on 4 (what I will likely use).
They sell all different weight rating axles, widths, etc. The shipping was the main price changing factor, the more I order the lower the price.
That or if anyone knows somewhere to get axles cheaper, I'd love to get some Torsion axles but don't want to pay the ~$700+ price tag on them.
