Anyone play an instrument?

I mess around on the banjo. Really wish I had the time and know how to play much, much better than I can. I'd also love to know how to play the mandolin and dobro and flat pick a guitar!

I've also been picking up my harmonica here lately. Fairly simple to learn.

Played Sax all through School
Concert band, symphonic band, Stage band,
Then later in life, one of the two founding members of City Rhythm, A local jazz band here in Morganton

I've played the trumpet since 4th grade, although haven't touched it in years. Also play the guitar and bass guitar.

My wife plays some instruments too, we've got shit all over the house.

Piano, keyboard, three trumpets, clarinet, alto sax, trombone, bunch of guitars, etc. Waiting for my kids to get older so we can start a band.

Dated a girl once that was really good with a skin flute!!!

I played the drums in middle school (concern band) and high school (marching band and concert band). Haven't played since.

I've been playing guitar for 7 or 8 years.
Never in a band or anything like that
I'd like to start learning some stuff on the mandolin.

I can't play a lick of music...my little brother pisses me off because he can pick up an instrument at lunch and be pretty good on it by dinner.

I was wondering how many posts it would take...

Another sax player here, I started on alto and moved on the baritone

I played drums/percussion in High School marching and symphonic band. I even was part of a band and played two gigs (mostly Led Zepplin songs). Then I hadn't played in over 20 years when one day at church, the guy who normally plays the drumset was sick, so I played with them. 5 minutes to warm up/get familiar with the songs and off I went. I fill in occasionally when they need someone, but now there's 3 drummers (including the pastor's son).

I've played Guitar for over 20 years, Drums, Bass Guitar. I am trying to learn piano now, I've played in a hard rock band most of my life. For a lot of years with another guy here on the forum . Now I just play for my kids, teaching them. My oldest is incredible, she can play Piano,Violin, and Guitar.

That's me! :massey: I've been playing guitar and bass for the last 20 years. I've been in several reasonably successful local bands. Now I'm old and retired and just play around the house and with friends. I've been thinking about starting up another project soon though....I really miss being on stage.

Well, hell....let's start up a bluegrass band! I can sing

I really wish I knew someone that could help me learn more on the banjo.

I played bass in a band long ago. Awesome time making music with your friends! I miss slapping my Wasburn around, I could do a pretty sad but funny version of Les Claypool. You have to appreciate his skills even if you don't like Primus! :D
