Highly considering flat bedding my 7.3, my bed isn't in the best shape really think I would get more use out of a flatbed for hauling stuff. Is anyone running one and see any downsides? Found one I like going to check it out this weekend.

I have two trucks flat beds are 450 and 550 I love them they are easy to work off of and keep cleanand I don't really worry about backing into anything or the bed getting been up

We have a '78 Cheyenne with a all steel dump flat bed and its great. We do have the stanchion slots and mad some sides for hauling gravel and mulch, but the flat bed is great. We have welded down d ring plates to haul certain things, then just grind em off when done.

I DD one. Typical flat bed pros: no wheel wells, can load from three sides, makes a great work bench. Biggest con for me is you have to tie down everything. I have some removable tall sides for mine, thinking about making some shorter ones.

I will never have anything but a flatbed. Really nice to work out of. Mine is actually a dump too.

ive thought about one on my single wheel long bed. just think it would look goofy and my bed is still in pretty good shape. my dads getting ready to put one on his truck.

Local guy has flat bed on his 250 not quite as wide as the dually bed looks really good.

Could always swap in a dually rear if you go flatbed

My truck is srw so if I go with it I'll post pictures. Got the measurements and it's only going to stick out about 5in past the tire on each side

Screw a stock pick up bed. I wanna work and play. Still hitches to my gooseneck too. I like a flat deck also, but I would have dedicated boxes to load on it when needed, outfitted with lift eyes or handles for the tractor or hoist.

^That looks awesome!

seen you on i40 last night. that is a really good looking setup
You had Samy axles in tow?? Or at least I saw a dodge haulin past me.
