Anyone seen a fuel pressure fitting like this?

I finally got the timing right on my F150 and it ran, but immediately died. I'm thinking the fuel pump bit it.

I had pressure at the rail, but now I don't. There is a little button like a valve stem that shot out fuel when I first started working on the truck, but now it just dribbles out.

Going to replace the fuel pump, but not sure how to test fuel pressure. I have normal gauge with the schrader valve. This is a weird fitting.

It does look a little funky. I'm 99% sure that the bottom thread is just 1/8" npt either way, so its not too hard to replace. Change the filter and check the inertia switch before buying a new pump.

Others would know better than I, but didn't Ford use a "check valve" to keep the rail primed that was prone to gumming up or otherwise causing mischief?

Well, it came off and the schrader valve was under it, but it is a different thread size than my gauge. Going to go see if I can find an adapter or a new gauge.

Filter is new. Forgot about that inertia switch. I'll check that out too.

Not sure on that check valve either, anyone know anything? This is my first Ford.
