seen a couple of them over the years.they were offerd from the factory because there was a brand new on a dealership lot in houston. it sat there for over a year.

Wasn't from the factory, but a third-party vendor who made these. They also built four-door Broncos. I believe the company's name was "Centurian" or the like.

there is a late model F350 driving around Raleigh like that. I think Service Roofing owns it...

Centurion conversions as well as many others who have done them

I saw pretty regularly in when I was doing fire sprinkler work.

I saw one sitting on the capital ford truck lot a few years ago. brand new.

My four door is hard enuf to park at times I cant imagine two more doors.:shaking:

Baker has a bunch of them... the new body style, though.

Capital has one on the lot every once in a while.

OK so I'm going toask teh obvious question - what's the appeal?
I'dthink driving/parking that thing would be sucha pain it'd hrdly be worthwhile.

I think it is cool I would drive it! This one had leather seats wood grain etc looked nice in side and out very clean looking.

The old Ford stealership (Cooper-Harris) in Pittsboro, NC had those on the lot all the time. From plain Jane work trucks to trucks that were over the top/tacky. I still see a few of them rolling around here.

You can fit an entire crew and all their tools into one.

They're actually not that big. In fact, a normal crew cab with a 12' box is longer. Especially so if the box is a dump.

It's for contractors who treat their 'cans really well and let them ride INSIDE.. :D

I remember early to mid 90's the owner of Dunn-Benson Ford would use one to pull their dirt late model to Fayettevill Speeday. That thing was huge. And it was a Centurian (sp?)

one of the owners of the Ford dealership here in Jacksonville has a F-550 three door excursion with super single tires are wheels. It is pretty sick.
