anyone with current inside info on super swamper

I'm looking to buy either 39.5 tsls or my preference would be 40" ltbs ...I'm told the ltbs are on backorder indefinitely. ...and its not a lot better finding tsls...at a decent price anyway ...anyone have any inside info about when or if they will start making the ltbs again ?
 
Just to update this...I called interco myself today and was told that they are building the ltbs but to expect it to be 4-6 months before they are available
 
6 months isn't a problem for me to get the tire I want what the lady told me today was that they had been shut down fow about 2 years but they are currently making new tires even ltbs. They just have not run the size I want yet
 
My point is don't hold your breath. They never stopped making LTB's in a few sizes as well as some of the other tires they still had molds for...Interco has been saying "a few more months" since the whole denman shutdown happened. And now that I think about it, it's been over 3 years rather than two. Might want to check out pitbull tires.
 
I think I may just try to grab up a set of useable used tires until I can get some new ones .pitbulls I'm sure will do fine on trails but in my area with sticky clay nothing is going to bite like a swamper

More info on this Denman shutdown? And how did it affect Interco? I wasn't paying attn...
 
From what I have gathered denman tire corp shut down 3 years ago or so...they where who had always made swampers ...and super swamper has finally started finding someone to make there tires again

The went bankrupt and where sueing for the molds from those proceeding.That is why no one else has been able to jut make them for interco..
 
No when they filed for bankruptcy the banks froze all assets including the molds.... There was a long thread on pirate a few years ago.
 
They should get Cooper to make them. :beer: Probably my favorite tire manufacturer, they make all sorts of good stuff!
