I know this is a long shot, but I figured it couldn't hurt. Something fell through on my tire purchase. If anyone has a contact at General Tire's headquarter in Fort Mill, hit me up. Help a brother out.

The XJ gods dropped a gift today at my house, but I don't have any rubber to wrap them in.

LOST TIRES ???

Yea , good luck with that! Nice wheels Man!! Know what U mean. I ordered set of M/T thru my workplace. Warehouse supposed to have had them in last Wed. Fri., they said they lost my tires!!! I have NO idea<!> Already dismounted my old slicks, & U know were going to get SNOWED in!!!! DAMN!!!:poop:

Rides of Conover FTW.

XJ should be back up and "running" by next weekend. Wanted Creepy Crawlers, but can't justify the costs. 5 35x12.50R17's on the way.

Will or Aaron at 4 Wheel Parts did their best to locate some General Grabbers, but there just aren't any to be had at a realistic price. Will did a boatload of leg work trying to track some down. My love affair with the Grabbers was short-lived.

I'm willing to bet you have an incredibly good looking brother-in-law that would agree on the Treps being a great choice. :flipoff2:

They look good, perform very well on the rocks, and are smooth on the street. I would rotate them every 500 miles (what I do with the PB rockers) to keep the wear even- since you have a matching spare.

General is probably not getting back to you because they are rocking it in DAKAR.

Their sponsored Raptor is doing very well..... considering it basically has only two aftermarket mods for the race: roll cage and a pair of King resi shocks.

So wait, what tire did you get? Treps? It's a far better tire than the cc's anyway.
