i need 3/8 aluminum fuel line, probably 15' or so, i thought id found a 25' roll at a parts store before, did some calling around, no one had anything other than 60" max stainless brake line...

i know i can get it at summit, but i thought if it was available from a local source, i could save the $10 shipping charge...

thx

Carquest warehouse on New Hope Church RD in North Raleigh. It'l probably be listed as brake line, but it's the same thing. I just got done redoing the fuel line on my buddys '49 Plymouth with the stuff. We bout it in 5' sections but you can get a whole roll of it. It's cheaper to get the 5' sections, but then you gotta get couplings and have the risk (allbeit a slight one) of leaks anywhere there is a joint. We just found it easier to work with 1 section at a time.

Anywhere in Raleigh that sells racecar parts?

Still probably cheaper to order even w/ shipping. Biggest advantage is you could probably get it by the foot locally.

just use a flare compression fitting and join the two pieces together
Yea, that's what we did. The 5' pieces come pre flaredwith a fitting on the end. You'll need to get a coupling that will mat 2male ends together. Carquest has them @ like $3 ea. You'll also probably need a flaring tool and a tubing cutter to get the final piece the right length, but I've got 'em if you want to borrow.
