yea,dorm life sucks.So my oldest and one of her friends are apartment hunting.I really need yall's help in finding a safe place.They are looking at "The Palms" Apts. just off Lake Boone Trail on Horton St. Good? Bad? Good but in bad location? Price seemed fairly reasonable for Raliegh but that might also put out the red flag.
 
I don't know anything about that complex specifically.... But that is not in anything resembling a 'bad' neighborhood.

That said, most students live down off Gorman. Bus service is better.
 
^What he said. Several of my buddies lived off of Gorman because of the bus service. Nice area, no problems. Lake Park complex is another one that's near the Food Lion on Avent Ferry. It's pretty good. I lived straight across the street from the Blue Ridge Movie theator (the dollar fifty movies) in a place called Westgrove. They are more of town houses but tend to be close in price to a normal apt.
 
bus service isn't an issue with them since they have their own cars.They haven't ridden the bus all year.Thanks for the info and ideas.
