APP STATE FTW!!

But Neeland Stadium holds the current record not the big house...

I don't think neyland has had the record for 12 years or so.

Neyland: Official capacity 102,037, biggest game 104,079

BIg house: official capacity 107,501, couldn't find biggest game

Beaver stadium (penn state): official capacity 107,282, couldn't find biggest game

Horseshoe (ohio state): couldn't find official capacity but last years OSU-UM game seated 105,708

So neyland is in the top 5, but there are others that are bigger. In 1996 neyland was the biggest and had an NCAA attendance record (I htink against the gators).

Go mountaineers!

September 14, 2002 - 110,753, Penn State over Nebraska, 40-7 (I'm kind of a Penn State freak)

Oh, and go ASU! Hate to see a fellow Big Ten team go down, but that was just awesome. Michigan thought they were just having an easy tune-up/pre-season game, and got it shoved right up their poopers. Good for the Mountaineers.

I guess the band is back, my room mate is crashed out in his room.

Peacock got back around Midnight last night. We drank a few in my room, and walked outside over to his driveway to check out the goal post in the middle of it, and he was walking into his house. We talked to him for a bit.

That was a crazy night last night. Fun times though. Was waiting to wake up this morning and it be a dream. Hate it for all the people that went home for labor day and missed actualy watching the game. :huggy:

Crazy ride home, we just got back. In between pitsburgh and morganton we came up on a wreck where supposedly a durango went end over end down a embankment after "popping" over the guardrail 30 seconds earlier. I jumped the guardrail and found a women who had been ejected along with her 2 dogs from the back window. Had to provide basic first aid til the paramedics arrived. Luckly a ICU nurse and someother nurses were there so I didn't have to do much. It was scary

Wow. Glad you and others that know what to do were there.

As for those that missed the game and want to catch it on TV, check your local Fox Sports channel tonight. They are supposedly going to replay the game, since it originally aired on their "sister" station the Big Te(leven)n Network.

I'm not seeing it listed on any of the Fox channels in the Winston-salem Time-Warner-cable listings... anybody find it?

I'm not seeing it listed either. They (FSN) said on Sunday that it would air on Tuesday night after their 10:30 Highlights Show. I'll just set the vcr for 11 and see what happens. May have been too quick a decision to get it listed. At least we'll see it on ESPN Classic one day soon.

loving penn state like i do, nice to see michigan get beat, by anybody. nicely done app st.

lol...I drove up to check out the goal post the other day....it was still gone. How the hell did they get it out of the ground

Get a bunch of students hanging on it and rocking it back and forth and its possible...we tear them down 1 or 2 times per season. I would be willing to bet they are still up in the chancellor's driveway.

Exactly as described. Took part in the festivities after beating #1 (in 1-AA) Georgia Southern in 99 or 00. Hardest part was getting out of the black iron gates. Easiest part was chucking it in the duck pond.

GA Southern game in 03 when they came down was my first taste of ASU Football. I was here on my recruting visit. That shit was insane. The goalposts went through the windows of the GSU Team bus. The seat whose window got smashed happened to be my good friend who was their kicker at the time.

Anybody w/ more info on catching this aleged re-broadcast?

One of the profs in my lab is a Michigan alum and a huge fan. I've been razzing him all day (started with a big "34-32" posted on his door). All he can say is "... I'm so frustrated. Michigan is not supposed to lose!" Hahahahaha.

He and I both want to see it.

Its in the Charlotte Observer apparently, says it shows at 8.
What channel is that around here?

According to TVGuide.com, FSN (ch 46 in Winston TWC) is baseball from 7-10. Grrrrr.
