I have nothing useful to add regarding IOS7, but my Casio Commando running Android lasts 4-5 days on the stock battery. Turn of data and GPS unless you are using them, and you will be amazed. The smartphones have bigger/better batteries than old "regular" phones, but use alot more battery. If you stop the battery drains, and use it mostly like a phone, battery life is great.
