Appliance repair question

I know someone on here has answered questions about appliance repair.
I have a Maytag dryer, model #LDE313 that sounds like it has a load of rocks in it right after you turn it on. After about 3 seconds it sounds normal. I figure that there's a bearing going out somewhere but need to know where to start.

The blower wheel has come loose, the shaft is D shaped abd the plastic wheel is now rounded in the center. Part#303836 $15-20, I keep it on my van.
