If it's the wrong area, please move.

Looking at a 96 Cherokee, no carpet or headliner, herculined floors, 3" lift, bald 33" super swampers, locked rear. I6 w/5 speed. 147K on the odometer, but no clue if it's accurate.

Asking $1500.

Opinions?
 
the 1500 XJ is a dime a dozen. that sounds about right, it really on how motivated the seller is. Once you get down in this price range, you have to start expecting the "little" things not to work too. Some little things can be frustrating if you intend on getting it registered/inposected.
Things to look at are full glass, all doors work, any rust, clear title?
 
Full glass, relatively dent-free, paint isn't perfect, typical exhaust manifold leak, needs to have the exhaust replaced, manual locks and windows. A/C works though! Manual locks and windows. Doors don't work very well though. Had to play around with two doors to get them to open. I'm thinking I should throw an offer of $1200ish.
