I'm always looking for things to make my life easier and more efficient so I have more quality time with family or for whatever...

Given that, I've found several apps I like that make life much easier or pleasurable.

Waze is great for traveling. You can chat with other wazers, get mostly real time traffic updates, get updates where some cops are, get updates on price of fuel and location, etc

Sonos app for jamming to tunes while at home. It's super convenient and sounds great.

Roku remote app is great when browsing the TV when I'm too lazy to get up and find the actual remote.

What cool apps do you love and can't live without?

I use a great to do organizer called Tick Tick. It is location aware....if I I'm over near walmart, it will alert and show my walmart list. Or dry cleaners, whatever. Location alert also works to set it when you leave a location....i.e., remind you to stop and get milk when you leave work.

I've never looked into lots apps for my phone. I should probably be spending less time on it anyways.
That being said, Pandora radio gets used everyday at work.
The only other app I have downloaded is My Fitness Pal. It's great for keeping track of your calories and macros.

Also use Turboscan often...a photocopier/scanner.

AroundMe when traveling mostly to find restaurants.

Lowe's home improvement...use it in store because it give aisle and bin location instead of having to ask a dumbass employee where something is.

DocScanHD is fucking great on iThings

Is it worth it to create an account on waze? I don't think I want to map chat, am I missing anything else?

Lowe's app rocks, its way more knowledgeable than most of the knuckleheads working there. I've used it to confirm stock and qty of patio pavers, and of course find what I'm looking for. Especially useful when I'm not at my hometown store and the layout is bassakwards.

GasBuddy for saving pennies per gallon.

acar to record fuel mileage and service records.

Hangouts.

Evernote is installed, but I don't really use it much. I have my home air filters sizes on there, what qty i have at home and when they need to be changed. On a sidenote, I hate whoever installed the HVAC on our house, installed 8 filters in 4 different sizes

Agreed on gasbuddy. Living and working right by the NC/SC line, it's usually worth the extra 5 miles to get fuel in SC, but some of the NC stations try to compete, so it's not always worth it the drive.

For mileage tracking, I use www.fuelly.com and it works really well. I also used it extensively when I was SUV shopping for my wife and then my mom in the past couple years. Its real data, so you don't see so many outlandish claims about 35mpg Cherokees and 30mpg Cummins trucks.

@RenegadeT Tony I like Waze as it gives you locations of accidents and cops as posted by other wazers. And, you can check gas prices around you and along your route.

It's basically google maps with gas price info and live updates of where cops are. Many times they aren't where indicated but a lot of times they are. I don't chat but do use all the other features.

These are nothing like what yall are using, but I use ConvertPad and Triangle Calculator a lot at work. They're pretty handy!

I love waze, its defintley saved my ass from more than a few speedtraps, but I just use it as 'guest'. I do hate when I roll into a slowdown that's not shown, then I see it update red, like I'm the one who confirms it to the Google servers.

Another vote for Waze, but the huge number of users up here in Northern Virginia does wonders for how accurate it is on traffic, accidents, and cops...

Torque Pro - for the guage functions and code reading...

Oh yeah, forgot about Torque Pro.

I just pull the Streamlight Microstream out of my pocket and use it so I can still look at my phone and keep texting.

I like Waze but its hard to compare it to built in navigation...hate having to dig for my phone so it doesnt get used as much.

Its one of those things where I feel certain there are 100 things that would improve my QOL, but I am not willing to invest the effort to find them.

I'm the same, hence why I created this thread. I don't have the time to search and search. Figure I'd ask like minded people what they use.

I just got a wife, she knows it all!!

Free prints is great. You get 80 pictures I think per month off your phone. You can choose what sizes if you want. All you pay is shipping on 4x6's. $8 I think. Pretty good quality too.
Also instasize is your friend on pictures. Resizes them, add text, etc...

Key Ring is cool. Too many weekends I've been out with the wife shopping, etc. I drove and refused to carry her key chain with around 20 grocery store rewards tags. Marital bliss is restored when I bust out my phone with the digital copies.
