I voted no. In the ER, obviously we are seeing a lot of people come in with flu-like symptoms. Based on the CDC guidelines, we are only testing people <5 years, >65 years, morbidly obese, immuno-compromised, or pregnant. They say that these are really the only folks that are "'dying" from the flu/h1n1.
If you do not fall in to one of those categories, if we don't find anything else going on with you, basically you get diagnosed with "presumed h1n1" and told to drink fluids, rest, and treat your fever with OTC meds at home.
That said, i doubt the vaccine itself is all that dangerous, it may keep you from getting sick. I personally am not getting it because I've probably been exposed to enough flu/h1n1 already at work that my body has already built defenses to it. (watch me get sick as hell tomorrow haha). But yeah, the media hype is ridiculous and definitely creates a lot of unnecessary traffic in ER's that clog up the system and make everyone's stay/wait that much longer
