Arrrrgh stop the rain.

Has anyone put any thought into what this is going to do to freshwater fishing in 2019?
You know I have. 2018 was the best year for white bass on fishing creek that I ever remember. We were tearing them up until the first hurricane. Catfishing has been way off this year so far.

You would be wasting your time and money putting any gravel down except for maybe a walkway. Your best bet would be to seed with rye grass and fertilize...

Did some work on the trees and boy let me tell you it's soft back there..... Then I had some 42" tire ruts to repair......

Last year was terrible for me. Stripers, good. Brim, missed them. Catfish, dismal.
I just wonder what the raising water levels will do for bream beds in spring coming up.

Yeah the rain can fucking stop. 22.75" over what we normally get has a ton of fence near creeks wrecked all to shit. Spent the better part of 3 days earlier this week driving post, pulling/replacing sections of barbed wire and cutting debris off the fences.

It just stopped raining a few minutes ago this morning.

Yay.

Worked in the pissing rain all morning. The wind blew my ladder down. Got soaked. Luckily a guy was nice enough to stop and help me out. If not I was gonna be tucking and rolling in some pine needles off the roof. Got everything done and then it stopped raining. I believe the man is messing with me. Off to the next job.
