August 23, 2008 - Uwharrie Adventures - Mud Bog/Race

There will be another Mud Bog/Race held at the Uwharrie Stables on August 23, 2008.

Gates open at 9am.
Registration is from 10am-12pm.
Driver's meeting at 12:30pm.
Racing begins at 1pm. :driver:

3 Street Classes
$25 street entry fee

3 Pro Classes
$50 pro entry fee

General admission is the same as last time. Call the Uwharrie Stables for more info at 910-572-1614

We would like to host another Rock Crawl, but have not seen enough interest in competitors. The crowd loves it but we need more than 5 people crawling. If you know of more people that would be interested in making it bigger, please contact us. Now that NO Limit is off to Vegas, we could use someone else with some experience in the rocks.
 
Maybe if some clubs got involved like the Mud Devils or Big Dixie Boggers - they I'm sure would be interested in keeping the Rocks going (I would think) since those two clubs represent the majority of rigs/buggies in the area that are capable of actually competing in the rocks.

I am a BDB member and could pass the idea on to the Big Wigs of the club, and I know enough of the Mud Devils that I could mention it to them as well, plus I'm sure half of the club members will see this thread anyway since they bout all here on nc4x4 allot.

Heck if noone else wants to next weekend I "might" put my Jeep on the rocks again for the crowd, tractor tires actually do surprisingly well on em :driver:

I was not talking about the rock crawl, I was talking about the race that was run on rocky mount loop that so many people entered, no trouble finding competitors for a race. Anybody else still wanna race?
 
Change in Payout for Pro Class Racers

After some input from some racers, We are changing our payout as follows for Pro Class Racers:
1st class-Narrow tire (38's)-1st place:$400.00, 2nd place:$200.00, 3rd place:$100.00, 4th place: $50.00

2nd class-44's Uncut-1st place:$400.00, 2nd place:$200.00,
3rd place:$100.00, 4th place: $50.00

3rd class-Unlimited Cut Tires-1st place:$500.00, 2nd place:$200.00, 3rd place: $100.00, 4th place: $50.00
