Aussie locker

Anyone have any experience with an Aussie locker? I just installed one in my 98 TJ about 2 months ago and the clicking sound when taking corners is enough to drive you crazy. I know it's supposed to click, but I wondering if I did something wrong.

I don't have an Aussie, but I do have a lockrite. What type of gear oil did you use? Thicker gear oil should help to quiet the noise. If that doesn't work, then its time to turn up the radio!

I bet the lunchbox locker is a lot louder in a TJ than my WJ, especially if you've got the top off or windows open.

The one in my 8.8 does make alittle noise around corners, but it's not to bad.

Aussies in both the front and rear in my TJ and I hardly notice them. On the other hand we did put one in my buddy's TJ and it is pretty loud but well within specs.

We've installed a few and not had any noise. You have to be just about perfect with the clearances they give you in the setup instructions.
