Aussie Pinz Pics

bring back some of those tires.
That tread design looks super-verstile. They're made by Simex. http://www.procomp.com.au/Html/Pc_ProductsTyresSimexBody.htm

Not an a-arm but a swing arm suspension. It has limiting straps to keep the axle from swinging down too far and going under the truck or damaging the diff.

He didn't flop because he was probably leaning the wooden rub rail on the driver's side against a rock or ledge. A little skinny peddle and you drive thru it. The amazing part is that its got carbs and its still running at that angle.

you know how different it would be to wheel with 6 wheel drive! simexs look ALOT like TSL with some siping done. i noticed they also have a similar bogger style....i think it was simex anyway. get a Landrover mag and check out the tires, some cool tread designs over the pond.

The guy in the pic used to run bias TSLs but they evidently have become more difficult to get in the land down under. He thinks the Simex Centipede is a slightly better tire, and its easier for him to get.

And yes it is different driving with 6 wheel drive. :driver:

Not many people can say they had 3 tires in the air and still be rubber side down! Cool picts.
Kimball, I enjoyed watching yours on the trail, very impressive!
