I have a 95ZJ . When I park on a grade it rolls back in park. trans or linkage problem?

You're Viscous Coupler in your 249 transfer case is bad. When warm, does it also hop when you make tight turns?

right about full time 4x4. Doesn't have front driveshaft so I don't know about the hopping. What t case will bolt up ? I want 2wd and 2wlo maybe a 300 I've got some of them?

Well there's your problem. With the early 249's you have to have the front drive shaft or it will do this exact thing.
