Anybody know where to buy these metal terminals that go in the larger plastic connector? It is 3/32 wide. This is for a 3rd gen Dodge Ram 2500 rear door connector.

You can buy the pigtail as a whole, or its possible you can get a terminal kit from dorman. Typically we just buy new pigtails, it's easier than finding various pins. There are some online sources for pins but I've found its difficult to match styles from them.

Go to the dealer and ask if you look through the warranty scrap bin in the parts dept. Or ask one of the techs if they have a donor harness lying around. I used to grab warranty scrap wiring and cut off the connectors just in case of a similar situation.

IIRC, that connector goes into the door jamb. But would it be possible to bypass the connector with a jumper wire? I used to do that when dealing with obsolete connectors and harnesses.

Yes, unfortunately the connector does fit into the doorjamb. And the end that is in the doorjamb does not have much slack.
