I am soon to be in the market for some auxiliary lights to go on my light bar on the roof. I am on a budget but I do want some bright lights for some night wheeling, and ones that will last. Suggestions? Also what are the laws for auxiliary lights in NC? I think I remember reading that you can only have a certain numbers of lights but I am not sure.

Thanks!

As far as I know there are no laws on the number of lights, you just cant have them on while occupying the road - hence off road use only. Hella 550's are only $40-60 a pair. I think I remember Pep Boys sellin em for cheap. There are two different types of lenses on them. You can get the driving lights (longer distance) or the fog (wider). I would go with the driving lamps on your lightbar. Those will be your cheapest and best buy IMO.

I *thought* in NC if mounted above the mid line of the vehicle headlights they had to be covered at all times for on road driving.
