Was wondering what kind of prices on parts & labor I should expect on regearing a '04 Tacoma 4cyl automatic to 4.88 gears?(I've got 32" tires now but am looking into 33's in the future & don't want to regear twice if possible) I'm local to the the Monroe-Charlotte area so throw out some suggestions of places if you've dealt with anyone, thanks.

Call ECGS (East Coast Gear Supply) in Durham and ask for Andy Zuber. They do good work at a fair price and I think he'll quote you via phone. In Charlotte you can call Tarheel 4WD but I've had spotty service there.

alright, thanks for the replys.

I charge $900-$1000 out the door up here in Asheville for front and rear in a SFA Jeep, Toyota, etc. This includes gears, bearings, etc with lockers being more.

60's, 14 bolt or some others are slightly higher.

You will not go wrong with ECGS. Great bunch of guys there.
