I am trying to sell my chevy 203/205 combo and buy an atlas but it seems no one has any money these days. So what do you guys think about this... changing the input on my chevy 203 to a 23 spline dodge input and running the doubler behind the 4.0L/aw4? I will be stretching the rear 10" or so, so driveshaft length shouldnt be a problem. Everyone has said that 4.1 with an auto and 5.13s should be good for the gearing, so this is an option I am weighing out! Nothing more than talk right now!

What kinda jeep? xj,tj,yj,cj, or is it a buggy?

I would make a heavy duty X member....thats a heavy chunk of steel hanging on the back of the AW4.
Sounds like a good build....I loved my doubler and the NWF triple cable shifter worked super slick

yeah, i'd rather have a doubler than an atlas. as stated above, extra crossmember cant hurt,

didnt JC do this? i remember his xmember build but i dont know if that was for a tummy tuck or to support a doubler.

I think JC used the more common 231/300 or 231/231 combo of doublers. I'm thinking of going with the 231/300 when ever I have the money to do it since I will need 2 new driveshafts, but I wanna swap a pair of 60's under my junk first.

If my memory is right the Dodge input should fit the Chevy case without modification.
