i need to kno if a 89 yj ax5 trans will work in a 95 yj..

I have used one from an older YJ in my 95. If I recall they bolted up fine but there were a few slight differences with a couple connections that needed to be modified. I think the back up light circuit was one. I don't recall what year the AX-5 was from but I do know it was a good amount older.

Clutch is different. Internal slave up through 94, external in 95.
