axle swap

i have a 2000 jeep wrangler with a 4 in rough country lift and i was wondering if there where any kind of modifications i had to do to switch my dana 35 to a ford 8.8 like welding brackets in place or anything at all or would it just bolt right up

Im guessing you meant Dana 35 rear? An 8.8 will not bolt into your TJ in any way, shape, or form, unless it is an aftermarket built axle, or one someone else set up for their TJ. You can buy bracket kits to weld on for a rather simple swap though.
