I have a 98 dodge 1500 but the 4x4 wont ingage? I checked all the vacume lines and there all good, does anyone know what it could be?

actuator itself could be back on the axle.

If that actuator on the axle is bent at all it won't slide to engage...mine was tweaked a bit...once a beat it straight and slid it by hand a few times it worked great...
