Dear lord, just what we need, a convoy of 500 JK's clogging up I-85 northbound for 4 hours on saturday morning. I guess its the white guy version of blocking the highway in protest.

I'm getting this second hand, so YMMV...

Looks like CNC-4x4 will have a group gathering at the UPS parking lot, probably before the convoy arrives, say 10:30-11:00. Folks are welcome to join in.

And therein lies the very reason for the BLM movement.
No. BLM is a bunch of thugs working the system to their advantage. Bad people exist in every environment but sarcastic comments don't rise to that. BLM does.

Been true for a long time.

Oh really now... tell us more please I'm sure your insight is endless about the struggle.

You stand on a highway you might just get trucked. It happens all the time to good people not even trying to disrupt traffic.

BTW, substitute any other demographic in that pic and it reads the same. People who play the _whatever_ card in order to live off of others rather than do the hard work of life, keep one's nose clean, stand up for what's right, etc. are all the same.

So word on the street is ju got some truck driver fired because he give em the finger. I couldn't see getting anybody fired over the bird

By my best count we passed 140+ on the north side of Raleigh on the way back home from a week on the beach. Good to see the support for LEO's. Traffic wasn't that bad around the group. Construction zones and 3 lane to 2 lane mergers were far worse.

It was a great outpouring of support. 200-300 vehicles. LEOs loved it and moved us thru Raleigh like it was a presidential convoy - movin'! Mostly Jeeps, like 99%, and the truckers were having a blast along with others pulling over to take pics.

Yea, some tricky traffic issues but mostly minor and on par with a road running race. I-40 wasn't too bad just had to make sure we let folks merge and exit. Lots of families, couples, kids, and a nice afternoon.

Raffles, t-shirts and such to raise money. Good time.

Was a fun ride, long way from Hooterville so I covered some miles. Watching the trucker drive by flipping the bird didn't personally bother me. (i get a least one of those a day anyway)
The few Leos we interacted with directly really appreciated it. A few troopers were on an overpass or on the side of the road taking pics also. I realize that at the end of the day we didn't solve the Worlds problems but with the hostile environment being hosted, even fostered, under the current Administration someone has to let these folks know America cares besides just by sharing a FB meme.

Well sometimes being a dick bites you.

It sucks for that guy I know, but you have to remember to act accordingly when your in a company vehicle. whether you want to be or not your an ambassador of whomever owns it.

O yeah, your right if that guy wants to work I'm sure he will find another job, although I may not agree with others actions I've never been one to snitch.

How do you guys know you actually got him fired though? I get that a complaint was made, but how have you been able to confirm he was fired? Also, just out of curiosity, was flipping yall off cause of the traffic or was he against the support being shown for law enforcement?

This is very true, couldn't make the slightest mistake without someone calling the hows my driving line when I working for Housing Authority.

The flip off happened on the Interstate when everyone was moving along quite well. I didn't font this earlier but I will now. The "politically correct" don't offend me environment that we are living in drives me nuts. So the guy flipped us off, big deal. He didn't take that giant rig and try to break the line which he could have easily done. Shrug it off and move on. Later in the day when a few of us were eating and talking about the ride I mentioned that I didn't give a crap about getting the bird and they looked at me like I just said something crazy equivalent to "bacon sucks". Pick your battles.
