Backspacing, BJs and Width

As im getting closer to my first run, having some doubts.

Running 15s with 2.5 bs atm for a temp solution (44/60). Ultimately going 17s in the 3+ bs flavor. Id not like to move up wheel/tire purchasing as already maxed out the jeep hobby budget for this year with truck/trailer/atlas budgeting.

That said. Whats yalls thoughts on how big of a deal this current size is. Am I looking at toasted BJs after only one outting and risking broken Cs. Or is that only a concern on my 12th offroad outing like that or something.

Just trying to gain some perspective so I can adjust priority lists accordingly.

Agreed it's not like your running back to back King of the Hammers or Mint 500.
